“A crazy fellow” that’s how she was tagged by everyone she loved and was nice to! Her name went from our favorite aunty in the neighborhood to a lunatic. On this day she came to our house, I was thirteen, now a big boy! Not that 5year old that used to jump on her in excitement when she comes around to visit my grandpa, someone she called her big brother but he was just a family friend she respected so much and felt that’s the title that befits him. She was a full glow when I was a little kid, she was very wealthy, so beautiful and we all loved to see her because every kid always gets a gift from her. She was not living in our neighborhood backthen, She was married with kids, She had a perfect life.
Everything was different now! My Grandpa who she called her brother was no more! Dead and gone! Her husband sent her away and he took over everything she ever worked for because she was a loyal wife that had his name on all her properties, to worsen things, I don’t know how he did it? But he was able to convince her children that she’s a witch! To my surprise with the way she loved them, gave them the best education and sent them abroad, they believed it. Depression clouded her brain, she became a very stink old lady, who didn’t know where to start life from, she wasn’t just heartbroken but she was buried alive in backwardness.
I was bold enough to ask her questions without having the fear that she would get aggressive since she’s mentally derailed, I wasn’t worried if she would attack me or bite me. I wasn’t going to run away from her because life turned its back on her, I refused to see who she turned out to be and still Maintained the image of how beautiful she used to be when I was just a five year old. She answered me calmly and her words dragged in her mouth sluggishly, I was sad by all I heard, but the thing is it’s only her side of the story I have heard, her husband and kids version maybe different. OK, let’s say she was guilty for some stuffs and she was actually a bad person like her family painted her to be, do you think she deserved such treatment? Was her husband right? That’s why I am asking, When is it ever right to break a woman’s heart?
A lot of women are victims of a relationship that becomes a nightmare and so many men are dying mysteriously and living miserable lives as a result of the karma of breaking a woman’s heart. Couples can separate without heart’s being broken, sometimes in life people just tend to desire different things or want to chase other goals and may not want to do it with their present partner but someone else. Change is constant, nothing remains the same in life, but as this changes comes and as we transform and adjust to them, we should try to master better ways to end relationships, especially men! Let’s know that there’s never a right time to break a woman’s heart.
